“ I was starting to just think about inequality and how housing, which used to be this sort of symbol of stability and aspiration for the middle class, has increasingly become one of the main drivers of some of the biggest issues facing American society, but especially everything from inequality to segregation, gentrification, racial, and generational wealth gap,” he shared on the intention behind creating and writing a documentary on this rising social issue. This is the seventh documentary film that Gray has developed, under the production company that he founded with his sister, GRAiNY Pictures.
